Old Frame Repurposed

You all know how I LOOOOVVVVEEE to repurpose thrifted finds.  It is so much fun to turn trash into treasure.  I especially love to decorate my home with thrifted finds.  It is a great way to unique elements to your home.
Below are some pictures of a LOTTO game I found a while back.
Check out my original post to see how much I paid for it and what else I found on that day!
I've been dying to do more with this!

I have lots of old frames laying around, but don't want to fill them ALL with personal pictures, so sometimes I'll do something unexpected with all those frames.

While digging around, I found this beautiful chunky old frame that I found at Goodwill.  I don't remember exactly, but I'm sure I paid no more than $2 for it.  I thought the dark stain on the frame would look beautiful with the LOTTO game cards.  The frame has a few rough spots on it, and I had originally planned to paint it, but I think it adds some character to it.
This project was way too easy!
All I did was place the game cards in just as I would a photograph. Since the game cards were smaller than the picture opening, I just layered them until there were no holes.  Once I did this, I thought it needed a little something, so I hot glued some of the wood playing chips to the glass on in the frame.
I'm pleased with how it looks.  The colors warm up this little nook table.
I've been trying to incorporate some blues throughout my house.  No, I'm not a blue person, but I'm beginning to find an unexpected love for the color blue!  This added a perfect little touch of blue in this corner of the room.
See here, here, and here  for more ideas on repurposing old frames.
