Recent Finds

Where is the month of May going?

The past few weeks have been such a whirlwind..... the flood, visiting mom in coastal Georgia, getting home only to have the stomach virus, and helping with a baby shower over the weekend!  Wow!

I wasn't able to make it to any yardsales or thrift stores this weekend, but wanted to show you some things I found a couple of weekends ago and haven't had a chance to post.

Apothecary Jar at a local thrift store - $1.49
(pennies were not included :) )

Glass Hurricane at GW - 99 cents
Antique Ball Jar at local thrift store - $1.49
(I filled these with items I found around the house)

Birds at GW - 25 cents on 1/2 price day!
Small Candlestick at GW- 75 cents on 1/2 price day!
(I'm planning to use this with my cheese dome that I found previously to make a cloche)

Pottery Barn Book Rack at local thrift store - $10.99!

I don't know what these are called, but I was searching for one for a project for a baby shower.
Finally found it at GW - 99 cents!!!

Thanks again for linking, and if you would not mind linking my party as well, I would so appreciate that....hope you visit some other participants as well, I have a nice crew of gals that join in, and I am certain they will come and visit you as well.
